A tradition worth sticking to…

From the time I started writing, a good friend inspired me on doing a “bests” and this someone thought my perspectives mattered. Fifth time…!!

2009 – The first year of shacking up, the year of recession and a year of more downs and less ups!

Here it goes…for the 5th time…the BESTs!

Best Moment : It was the beginning of the year…Jan ‘09 – Phuket

snorkelled for the first time…saw corals and colours that I had never imagined. Saw a world that I didn’t know exists. Gorgeous!

Best Restaurant : Tuscano. As authentic as Italian can get in our country. If you haven’t been there, then go – Forum Value Mall, UB City.

Best Dessert : Tough to give up sugar, hence we’re back to tiramisu.

Best Book : Don’t lose your mind, lose your weight. Fitness mantra for life. Brings in positivity and peace to the mind. Kudos to Rujuta!

Best Drink : White wine…this year. Classier and wiser by the years….

Best Movie : 3 Idiots

Even the film industry was going through a bad phase, but then comes this movie as a breath of fresh air. Aamir teaches the other people who know the craft but have forgotten the art of film making. He is GOD…undoubtedly.

Best Trip : Phuket Jan ‘09

Worsts of ‘09 : A section being introduced especially for this non-special year. No hikes. No promotions. No plays. No productions. No stories. No MBA. Bad films. Bad year for SRK. MJ passing away, Weight gain, back pain, acidity… that’s about it.

This year : Thanks for going away! Also thanks to my husband and my friends and family for tolerating my mood swings. I could have be worse… ;-)
